
Jeonnam Intellectual Property Managers
Club donates 9,000 masks to vulnerable groups due to COVID-19
Lee Haeng-woo, chairman of the Jeonnam
Intellectual Property Management Club, and BK Energy Co., Ltd. President
donated quarantine supplies (KF-Ad: 3,000 masks, KF-80: 6,000 masks) to the
Jeonnam Regional Headquarters of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation
(Director Park Soo-bong) for children in crisis in the community who are at
risk due to COVID-19.
The Jeonnam Intellectual Property Managers'
Club is a group of small and medium-sized businesses that operate businesses
based on intellectual property, supported by the Korean Intellectual Property
Office and South Jeolla Province, and is the only intellectual property group
in the region.
As COVID-19 spreads again, this club made
donations to contribute to quarantine efforts against COVID-19 and support
children in crisis in the local community by giving back to society as a small
business.
In addition to 2,000 donations at the
Jeonnam IP Management Club, members of the Jeonnam IP Management Club
personally donated in a relay ceremony. Lee Hyun-chul, CEO of Hwajin Industrial
Co., Ltd., had 3,000, Lee Haeng-woo, President of BK Energy Co., Ltd., had 1,000,
Choi Bong-doo, CEO of Human IT Solution Co., Ltd., Kim Yoon-hee, CEO of Miseong
English Association Co., Ltd., Lee Jong-soon, CEO of Hansung Steel Co., Ltd.,
had 500, and Seo Kyung-sik, CEO of Wave 3D Co., Ltd., 500 masks donations. With
the personal donation of these members, other management club members will also
donate.
Meanwhile, on the same day, eight members
of the Management Club of Jeonnam Intellectual Property Management Committee
gathered to discuss the difficulties and countermeasures of SMEs caused by
COVID-19 and the events of the Intellectual Property Management Club in the
future.
Lee Haeng-woo, chairman of the Jeonnam
Intellectual Property Management Club, said, "We have the opportunity to
donate quarantine supplies to children in crisis of vulnerable groups who are
experiencing economic difficulties caused by COVID-19 and give them back to
society, which is meaningful." In addition, "We hope that more
companies in the region will take the lead in donating by adding strength to
the club's good influence."
