It was announced that 'KOREA-UAE Energy Week' was held from November 15th to 17th at the Dubai World Trade Center in UAE to support entry into the UAE and Middle East markets.

The National Innovation Cluster Project is a project that discovers companies with development and growth potential within the Jeonnam National Innovation Convergence Complex and supports opportunities to advance into new industries, and the Jeonnam Consortium supports Jeollanam-do's new and renewable and new energy industry export companies to enter the UAE and Middle East markets. To this end, the third 'Korea-UAE Energy Week' was held this year, starting in 2021.

At this event, about 50 companies, including DEWA (Dubai Water and Electricity Authority) and Power Sun, participated and decided to conclude contracts within the year through a total of 105 export consultations worth $100 million.

The Jeonnam Consortium has signed 16 MOUs and 2 MOAs to build a business network based in the UAE. In particular, the event was held at the same time as the "WETEX & Dubai Solar Show 2023," a world-class exhibition in the field of hydroelectric technology and environment, and WETEX, organized by the Dubai Water Power Authority, is a large-scale international exhibition event involving global energy and environmental companies, and Jeollanam-do exporters will participate in the WETEX.
